The Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota recently celebrated the remarkable achievements of Dr. Reatha Clark King, an exemplar of overcoming barriers and pioneering success, with the launch of her new book, "Find a Trail or Blaze One." Over 70 attendees, including former colleagues, family, and friends, gathered to honor her trailblazing journey from the cotton fields of Moultrie, GA, to becoming a leading figure in academia, industry, and community development.  Dr. King's notable contributions to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration) space program, particularly her invention of a coiled cooling tube for rocket fuel that was crucial for the Apollo 11 mission, underscore her innovative spirit and scientific prowess.
